metal objects for bodies in transformation

Not clothing. Not costume. Wearable artifacts crafted scale by scale for those who seek transformation rather than decoration.

Beyond Adornment

DOST explores the space where armor becomes ornament and ornament becomes identity. Each piece is assembled by hand from hundreds of individual scales and rings, creating structures that move with the body and catch the light like a second skin.

Inspired by myths, creatures and forgotten worlds, these creations invite their wearer to step beyond the ordinary and embody something other than themselves.

The Artist Behind DOST

DOST was founded by Simone, an Italian designer based in Rome and a graduate of IED Rome.

Since the beginning of his creative journey, he has been drawn to fantasy worlds, mythology and the intricate forms found in nature, from scales to the structures of creatures both real and imagined.

After exploring fashion design and more traditional garment-making, his work gradually evolved toward wearable art, where armor, adornment and storytelling converge.
